Empowered Parent Leaders, formerly Fostering Family Leaders (FFL), is a 10-session parent leadership experience designed to equip mothers, fathers, and caregivers to become stronger advocates for their children and leaders within their families and communities. Grounded in the Five Protective Factors, participants strengthen resilience, increase their knowledge of parenting and child development, build social connections, identify concrete supports, and support their children’s social-emotional development while putting their leadership into action through community-focused projects.

Furthering Fathering provides fatherhood and family-strengthening programming within Metro Reentry Facility and Rockdale County correctional settings to help incarcerated and returning fathers prepare for successful family and community reintegration. Through fatherhood education, H.E.A.R.T. principles, personal development, relationship restoration, and connections to post-release resources, participants are encouraged to address past decisions, strengthen relationships with their children, and develop a plan for becoming more present, responsible, and productive fathers upon returning home.

Literacy Legacy – STEM & Father Engagement

CONNECT is a 10-session, relationship-centered program that meets fathers and male caregivers in the trusted environment of the barbershop. Through facilitated conversations, men explore attachment, parenting, communication, co-parenting, accountability, relationships, and family leadership while identifying areas where they may have stepped back and developing practical strategies to reconnect. CONNECT builds brotherhood while connecting men to resources and encouraging consistent, healthy engagement with their children and families.

​Getting to the H.E.A.R.T. of Fathers is Furthering Fathering’s signature fatherhood curriculum built around five core principles: Honor, Encouragement, Accountability, Reconciliation, and Training. The program challenges fathers and father figures to examine their identity, relationships, responsibilities, and influence while developing the character and practical skills necessary to become more intentional and engaged fathers, partners, and community leaders.

​Literacy Legacy is an interactive literacy and STEM engagement program designed to create meaningful learning experiences between fathers, father figures, and children. Through hands-on activities incorporating science, technology, engineering, mathematics, reading, creativity, and family storytelling, children learn while engaging the important men in their lives. The program makes father engagement fun and purposeful while strengthening communication, curiosity, literacy, and positive family connections through shared learning experiences.

Dad’s Life Plan is a 10-session personal and family development program that helps fathers create a practical vision for their lives and families. Participants explore identity, vision, adversity, anger management, co-parenting and mutual respect, healthy living, financial literacy, legacy, and strategic planning. Fathers leave with greater self-awareness, personal accountability, and an actionable life plan designed to strengthen their relationships, decision-making, stability, and long-term family impact.
